WHO WE ARE
The Stadium Consultancy was established by Ben Veenbrink in 2006, with the aim to create venues which are safe, profitable and provide compelling visitors experiences. By doing so we strive to set the standards in modern stadium and arena development and management.
After a career in venue technology at Philips Electronics, Ben joined the Amsterdam Arena in 2000. Applying the know-how and experience gained in operating and managing one of Europe's most successful stadiums, in order to create successful stadiums and arena projects worldwide, was his driving force to set up a specialist consultancy firm in this field.
Today Ben heads up a team of experts in project feasibility, business planning, project finance, stadium design, contract law, facility management, hospitality & catering, event management, safety & security, stadium operations and project management.
As recognition for his expertise in the field, Ben was elected member of UEFA's expert panel on Stadium Construction and Management.
In order to further professionalise the stadium industry and fill in the demand for professional training and education Ben Veenbrink founded the European Venue Management Institute (www.evmi.org) together with Ian Nuttall, founder of Stadia Magazine and Michael Siebold, partner of Germany's leading sports law practice Arnecke Siebold.
