Ben Veenbrink member of UEFA delegation to hold stadium workshop for Polish Football Federation and Ekstraklasa
On July 31st Ekstraklasa, the Polish Superleague, hosted a workshop on stadium development in Warsaw. Ben Veenbrink was one of the 5 presenters on behalf of UEFA with the topic "project management of new stadium developments".

Euroborg successfully stages the UEFA Under-21 final
After 3 group matches, the Euroborg stadium successfully staged the UEFA under-21 final on June 23rd. In a sold out stadium 20,000 spectators, including UEFA President Michel Platini, witnessed The Netherlands beating Serbia 4-1.

City of Enschede and FC Twente '65 reach an agreement on the extension of the Arke stadium
Today the City Council of Enschede has approved the project for the extension of FC Twente's Arke stadium from 13,500 to 25,000 visitors. As part of an agreement between city and club, the club buys 11,000 sqm. land necessary for the extension. Furthermore the club will take over the 2,500 sqm. office complex located inside the existing stadium, from the city for € 4 million. The city in its turn will provide a € 20 million loan to the club to finance the extension.
