"The enormous sums of money now being poured into new and renovated sports facilities bring with them not only construction contracts but long term requirements for professional management. This international student enrolment will be the first class of EVMI - and the starting point for greater professional development in both European venues and around the world.”

EVMI’s inaugural Summer School starts on Sunday 20 May in Frankfurt, Germany. During the five-day residential programme, students will be exposed to the latest thinking and best practices in sports stadium management, offered networking with the leading experts in the business and explore some of the latest stadiums developed for the FIFA WC2006.

On 23 May, EVMI will host a Press Conference at Commerzbank Arena (pictured), followed by a barbecue for press, students, tutors and partners of EVMI at the stadium’s business terrace. And, naturally, the UEFA Champions League Final will be screened on the stadium’s centre-hung video cube for all attendees
