Ben Veenbrink member of UEFA delegation to hold stadium workshop for Polish Football Federation and Ekstraklasa

On July 31st Ekstraklasa, the Polish Superleague, hosted a one-day workshop on stadium development in Warsaw. Ben Veenbrink was one of the 5 presenters on behalf of UEFA with the topic "project management of new stadium developments".
The workshop which was held at the Olympic Centre in Warsaw was attended by more than 50 representatives of the Polish superleague clubs as well as of the Euro 2012 host cities. Other speakers included delegation leader Marc Timmer, Thierry Favre (both of UEFA's Stadium & Security Unit), Chris Whalley (the Football Association) and David Petriashvilli (UEFA Stadium Inspector).
The objective of the workshop, co-organised between UEFA, Ekstraklasa and the Polish Football Federation, was to set out the new standards in stadium development and to provide guidelines and tools for the development and upgrading of the stadium infrastructure in Poland.
